A duo of Taito classics break out and invade the Nintendo DS!
The fine folks at Square-Enix have taken it upon them to bring both of Taito's retro revivals over to the states, Arkanoid DS and Space Invaders Extreme. As luck would have it, both games feature online leaderboards and versus modes! Head on over to their Wi-Philes pages below and start competing for guts and glory with your friends.
Plus, the games only retail for $19.99 in the States. Now that's a steal if I haven't seen one before.
It feels like we've come full circle; Wi-Philes was originally created back in 2005 when Mario Kart DS launched alongside the WFC service. Three years later and we have an all-new online Mario Kart title within our grasp. Likewise, the latest installment of Smash Bros. has arrived with full online play as well. Already, plenty of Wi-Philers have added their Friends Codes to their Wi-Philes profiles and begun playing online with friends, so why not join them?
Get your Brawl on!
After waiting for the odd month or three, American fans can finally experience the greatest Nintendo fighting compilation of all time! Super Smash Bros. Brawl nearly doubles the number of characters with unique moves than the previous game, adds a slew of replayability, and, of course, online! Head on over to Wi-Philes to share Friend Codes with your buddies and blog about the results.
