Tecmo Bowl kicks off for the Nintendo DS
The classic football (not soccer) series revives for the modern era.
Tecmo Inc., a North American subsidiary of Tecmo, has announced the release of Tecmo Bowl: Kickoff for the Nintendo DS. Following in the footsteps of its NES predecessor, which has sold over five million copies, this newest iteration in the series aims to improve the experience by adding several new features:- Touch screen control
- Mid-game cutscenes
- Team and player customization
- Power-up abilities
- Online and local multiplayer
The game has been announced for a Fall 2008 release in North America. More details as they come.
