New Scan of "Mobile Suit Gundam vs Zeta Gundam"

and yes, this is a gamecube game. (also for PS2 i believe..)

this is basicaly a remake of the PS2 game AUEG vs Titans DX with new mobile suits added...

Bolinoak Samman, Byarlant, Barzam, Psyco Mark II, Pallas Athena, Gaza-C...etc...

and a new UC mode
Quote:
UC MODE
- You choose an affiliation between AEUG, Titans and Axis
- You level up looks to be with points you get after completing missions
- You can experience Historic Events (example they give is Four Musumame Survival Route)
- One Year War recording info
- These missions advance by character
- Seems like for Axis their war ends at the end of the Gryps War.
- Stories of the past or futureseem to be included too (the example they give is of Yazan in a GM with an EF helmet)
- It starts March UC 0087 and ends February 22nd UC 0088 (guess this doesn't include the above)

It's also said that ZZ Gundam will apear in the game (scan...!)

The game is set to release in Dec in japan.

It somewhat remembers me of Armored Core...

I guess this will never make to America anyway.

They aren't the largest. They are, however, in the top 10 majority share holders with around 2-3%.

I would love to have a Gundam game on the Gamecube, especially one that came to America.

I see.

Also: somebody knows if this game is actually good? Based on previews or whatever?

Well, considering none of the AUEG vs TITANS games were ever released state side, i don't know.

but consider this. AUEG Vs TITANS for PS2 sold well over 600k.

here's a preview from a demo from last year...(AUEG vs Titans on PS2)
Quote:
September 26, 2003 - Nestled in the center of Bandai's booth at the Tokyo Game Show was Mobile Suit Z Gundam: AEUG vs. TITANS. Gundam Z is the sequel to the best selling Gundam game, Federation vs. Zion. Unlike most straightforward mech action games that force you to play through numerous objectives, Gundam Z is essentially a free for all battle.

At the beginning of the game you select two Gundam fighters from an assortment of ten. Your first fighter is then transported into an arena where you must slay enemy units. At your disposal are two weapons. One is some sort of gun, which can either be a long range or short range blaster. Gun types include laser beams, projectile spreads, and explosive rounds. Guns are able to lock onto targets, but the enemy must be within range (which is dependent on the gun) in order to get a successful lock-on and hit. When you're up close and personal, your Gundam is equipped with quite a nasty sword (which resembles a light saber). Swordplay consists of a three hit combo, as well as some specialty moves like a finishing kick.

If your first Gundam is slain in combat, your reserve unit will takeover. The best way to avoid becoming a steaming pile of wreckage is to use your boost jump to avoid enemy fire. Of course, you're going to be the one doing the most of the killing -- your finishing blow will be played in slow motion from a replay camera to show you just how bad arse of a Gundam fighter you are.

These battles take place on varying terrain. The first stage of the TGS demo was a battle on a Terran-like world. Your graduation from the first stage takes you to a barren landscape that resembles a moon. The final stage took the Gundam into outer space, where you're able to move around in all directions thanks to handy built in rockets.

While the gameplay is very straightforward, the levels seem over almost too quickly -- which may be attributed to a demo build. The demo build is also fairly easy, and can be beaten in a matter of minutes.

From an artistic standpoint, the Gundam models are very detailed and look almost identical to art from the anime series or the action figure line. Unfortunately, backgrounds are fairly plain and unexciting -- since they aren't the main focus. Hopefully Bandai will spend time polishing this title because it has a lot of promise in the fast and fun action category.

IGN will have more on Z Gundam: AEUG vs. TITANS more information as it becomes available.

I pray everyday that the cube version gets released states side.
