I'm surprised with myself in that I'm more drawn to this game than I'm able to explain. Maybe its the fact that its a Nintendo character powerup racing game. Anyone else getting a MKDD vibe from the graphics?
Oh and what is this I see. DK stradling Enguarde? I wonder if they have toned down his humping animation since DKC?

That last screen reminds me of Donkey Kong Racing Only this doesn't look nearly as good.

Or suck. Is this still using the bongos to control? I read something about the wiimote in the article this was posted in, but other than that...

So they took the Mario Kart: Double Dash!! engine and downgraded it for Wii? Way to go, Paon!

This looks terrible. I'd rather have my kidney beaten to a pulp than play this.

Pretty sure you use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to control it, and pound them up and down as you would hit the bongos.
Makes sense. I'll buy this game once it's $5 at the end of the generation, because it seems like an ok party game.

Really? That's kinda queer.
I understand that a lot more people probably own wiimotes & nunchucks with their Wiis than Bongos,... but I have currently have 3 pairs of bongos & I was 100% intent on picking this game up with bongos included to have 4 player bongo racing madness.
..Sure, I have enough Wiimotes & Nunchucks to play this game 4 player, anyhow,.. but this game is the reason why I have the other bongos in the first place. Sure, the first Donkey Konga might have been somewhat fun/interesting, but I sure as hell didn't buy the 2nd one just because I couldn't get enough of the songs..
I'll be quite pissed if the game isn't played with bongos... I'll even be quite annoyed if the game so much as even has an option for not using the bongos...

.... How old is this? It looks like an N64 game.
Which is a shame, because I really want a Mario Kart game on the Wii and this might hold me over if the it plays well.

Blah. The development team should just give this to Nintendo EAD Tokyo after they're done with Galaxy since they did the very nice looking Jungle Beat.
