I met Mario!!!!
OK yesterday at Game in Oxford Street I went with a mate of mine to see Charles Martinet (the voice of Mario) and get **** loads of stuff signed. I brought an old photo of myself at the age of 6 with a Mario Cake, a new issue of Nintendo magazine and Super Mario Sunshine just so that i could sell some and i got some postcards. He seemed pretty impressed with my picture as a kid. Oh and i uploaded my meeting on youtube!.

I am pretty sure i mentioned it on the video. Although i am having second thoughts about selling the signed disc of Super Mario Sunshine. Oh and the cover and manual are signed. Did any of you lot notice the Bob Hoskins digby my friend? I thought it was quite good.

I'm not sure you'd be getting much eBay money with your name in the autographs. Just his signature would have been better IMO.

EDIT: I just saw part2. You had him sign stuff without your name... for your 'friends', yeah right!


But yeah, he's very cool. I remember the real time animation he talked about. I saw something about it on TV back in the early 90's, and Mr. Martinet was already Mario's performer (Mario was visiting ill kids in a hospital).
