change of pace
My brother in law is looking for a change of pace in his gaming (PS2) and he asked me for some suggestions. So now I in turn am asking y'all for some.
He got into the syphon filter games years ago then his station was swiped,(he did not buy a new console until the PS2 came out). he has tried the newer ones but is unhappy with the controll system. He has played the hell out of the Tiger Woods games, GT 3&4, the Nascar games and the Cabellas hunting games. He bought Tekken five (I think it's five) and is verry disipointed with it.
I got him started on the Ace combat games and I have also suggested a RPG(I think I'll let him try FFX at some point in the near future)
Any suggestions that I can give him?

Good call on the Silent Hill Series. But I'd seriously only play the first three. The forth kinda left a bad taste in my mouth. I'd hit the series up in this order: 2,1,3.

If a change of pace is what he's looking for, I'd definitely recommend Katamari Damacy and We Love Katamari. As for any light, action-y RPGs, have him check out Kingdom Hearts.
Other games I'd suggest:
Devil May Cry 1,3
Metal Arms
Headhunter (if he's a fan of the more action-based espionage games, hey may enjoy this)
Onimusha series
Rayman 3
Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne (RPG- I'd probably break him into the genre with KH first.)
