Son of a glitchIf hacking isn't enough for you, we've compiled a list of notable glitches that can be executed by anyone (all glitches are confirmed on the first version of Wind Waker). If you don't know which version you own, check the underside of your game disc. A code printed on the back reads "DOL-GZLE-0-xx." The "xx" indicates the version of the game ("00" is the earliest).
Seagull + hole = sweet
Buy a Hyoi Pear and sail to any island that has a hole in the ground leading to another location. While atop the island, pull out your Hyoi Pear so you can take control of a seagull. Your next objective is to fly the seagull through the hole. Your approach is critical, so make sure you're flying as close to perpendicular to the ground as possible. If done correctly, your seagull will miraculously fly beneath the island's ground. To exit the underbelly of the island, simply fly through one of the walls.
Infamous jar glitch is back
After you've cured Link's grandmother on Outset Island, give her an empty bottle to be filled with Elixir Soup. Next, drink the Elixir and pause the game at the same time. This can be tricky, so be patient. Now replace the equipped Elixir bottle with any other item in your inventory. Return to the game. If your timing was perfect, the Elixir bottle will still be full and you'll retain the effects of drinking it. Infinite Elixir Soup baby. – contributed by Vegeta2001
Frozen Pizza — Wind Waker style
For some odd reason, making a game freeze invigorates a sense of supremacy over it. Discovering how to freeze a game means you found a bug that dozens of testers couldn't find. In other words, you "pwnt" them.
To our knowledge, there's only one way to freeze the game in Wind Waker (send us an email if you know more). Follow the instructions below to feel powerful:
1. Go to the Forbidden Woods dungeon
2. Go to a room with a lot of those tiny, ball-like creatures that stick to Link and cause him to slow down ("try going to the room right of the four-stemmed flower").
3. Blow them over with your Deku Leaf. Be sure not to move until they all land after being blow.
4. Move next to the door you came in through, but do not exit. Move around until they start jumping all over you. Get enough of them on you until you are walking at the same speed as if you were wearing the Iron Boots.
5. Leave the room and reenter it.
6. Your speed should have returned to normal, but repeat the process anyway at least 2-5 more times. Keep doing it until you get "at least 50-100 of them" stuck to you.
7. Cry with joy as Wind Waker freezes in confusion.

Tingle Tuner, Bombs — what's the difference?
While inside a house, equip the Tingle Tuner and use it. Press start before Link pulls out his Tingle Tuner. In the inventory screen, replace the Tingle Tuner with a bomb. Return to the game. Link will have pulled out a bomb instead of his Tingle Tuner. Bomb whatever the heck you want.

Game over
Sigh, it's over. The legendary dungeons couldn't be dug up and there's no sign of any beta items... at least any cool ones. On the bright side, we found a whole bunch of testing areas and a cluster of beta environments. We also managed to see the Zelda universe from a completely different side (literally). From the tops of the Tower of the Gods to the mysterious grounds of a spooky white house, we must say good-bye. But be warned, any significant revelations will be immediately uploaded to this article, so check back with frequence. Link can't hind in the shadows forever.
