Wii To Drop In Price

Posted September 24th 2009 by DC Garcia.

Starting September 27, the Nintendo Wii will be reducing the MSRP of its very popular Wii system to $199.99, down from $249.99.  While this news is not wholly unexpected, (what with the price drops for the PS3 and the 360), it is still good news for those that still haven't been able to acquire one -- and yes, there are a few.  The console that launched nearly three years ago still has a hard time staying on shelves, so with the upcoming holiday season it seems like everyone and their brother will likely be scrambling once again to get their hands on the little system that could.
