Hitler banned from Mario Kart's online service
Posted May 17th 2008 by Gareth Trinkwon.
Meanwhile Genghis Khan, Mao and Stalin are in hiding.
I thought I just had some weird friends, but apparently it's so common that Nintendo has actually taken action over it. A new policy on Nintendo's family-oriented gaming ideology means that any player that attempts to connect to Mario Kart's online service using a Mii named Hitler will immediately be booted out with the message: "You cannot access Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection using this Mii name. Please change your Mii name and try again"
If you, like Ted Hitler up there, happen to be unfortunate enough to possess the name Hitler, it looks you're out of luck. May I suggest just going by your first name?
