Milestone Shooting Collection fires up

Posted February 27th 2008 by Oliver Chen.

It's three shoot-em-ups in one discount package for the Nintendo Wii.

Milestone, Inc. has officially announced Milestone Shooting Collection, a compilation of three previous games by the Japanese developer. These games are:

  • Chaos Field (2004), a boss-rush-type shooter in which you can flip between two parallel dimensions

  • Radio Allergy (2005), a cel-shaded shooter whose American release was cancelled late in development

  • Karous (2006), another cel-shaded shooter featuring three weapon modes

Karous is the only game currently confirmed to utilize the extra features of the Wiimote, with waggle corresponding to the Sword power.

All three games are noteable for being some of the last games to be released for the Sega Dreamcast. While no western release date has been announced as of yet, it will be likely that O~3 Entertainment picks this up for localization. Head to the link before for a few screens of the three games.
